Rocket Rentals Limited are pleased to be recruiting for a new role within our expanding Hire Centre at our new purpose build Facility near Slimbridge.   We supply Plant, Access and Tool Hire within the South West and require a Junior Assistant to help with our busy hire office.

 

Job description:

  • To provide Rocket Rentals with an efficient and high quality level of Customer Service and Office Administration
  • To project a professional and courteous image to customers and the general public
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm with a half hour lunch break, Saturdays 8am-12noon, usually 2 Saturdays per month
  • No experience required, training provided, however an enthusiastic, polite and organised manner is essential
  • Good Computer, literacy and telephone skills necessary

 

Duties:

  • To report on time in work wear provided
  • Answering the telephone and providing efficient and friendly customer service
  • Taking messages and forwarding telephone calls to other members of the Hire Centre team
  • General office administration and filing
  • To be courteous to customers and the general public and maintain a professional manner
  • Assisting the Hire Administrator with the following duties:
    • Hire enquires and accurate administration of documentation relating to hire of equipment and related procedures, documents, records and filing.
    • To take customer enquiries by telephone, email and other means
    • Arranging transport and liasing with Drivers
    • Communicating with Workshop Manager over PDI and Service of kit and breakdowns
    • Administration relevant paperwork regarding damage to company equipment
    • Follow correct procedures for defect/accident reporting
    • Taking credit card payments
    • Assisting with administration of Invoice queries and minimising customer queries
    • Opening customer and supplier accounts with correct procedures
    • Organising fuel cards and receipts for drivers, MOT and Tax of vehicles
    • Understanding Customer requirements
    • To operate company vehicles in a safe manner in accordance with current regulations
  • Assisting the Tool Hire Sales Executive with customer enquiries and general administration of documentation related to Tool Hire.

Plant Fitter for a plant hire company near Dursley.   Experience with Plant equipment required.   NVQ qualification an advantage in order to obtain CSCS card.    Plant Service and Maintenance qualification an advantage. 

 

Job description:

  • To provide Rocket Rentals with an efficient and high quality maintenance and service of equipment both at customers sites and in the workshop
  • To project a professional and courteous image to customers and the general public
  • To operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current regulations
  • Variable start and finish times, usually Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.30pm, Saturday 8am-12noon, within working time regulations
  • Maintenance, Service, Repair,  Pre-delivery checks and cleaning

 

Duties:

  • To report on time in work wear provided
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
  • Ensure equipment maintained, serviced, Pre Delivery Inspection and cleaned
  • Operate to law and tachos regulations
  • Reporting of damage to company equipment with relevant paperwork
  • Follow correct procedures for defect/accident reporting
  • Carry out good housekeeping of vehicles
  • Refuel vehicles to depot procedures
  • Understanding Customer requirements
  • To be courteous to customers / public and maintain a professional manner
  • To be seen as a professional member of the Company
  • Maintain good communication with the office base location.

  • To project a professional and courteous image to customers and the general public
  • To operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current regulations
  • Variable start and finish times, usually Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.30pm, Saturday 8am-12noon, within working time regulations
  • Pre-delivery checks, cleaning, reporting of defects and general yard duties
